แบ่งออกเป็น 4 ภาคคือ

1. อักขรวิธี (orthography)
2. วจีวิภาค (??)
3. วากยสัมพันธ์ (syntax)
4. ฉันทลักษณ์ (prosody)

Post นี้ตั้งใจจะหาคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษที่ถูกต้อง  แต่ยังได้ไม่ครบคือ วจีวิภาค  ในบางที่ใช้ speech classification  แต่เชื่อว่าน่าจะมีการกำหนดคำเฉพาะกว่านี้.  อนึ่ง พบว่าในบางแห่งกล่าวถึงว่า grammar แบ่งออกเป็น orthography, etymology, syntax, prosody  แต่ก็พบว่า etymology ตรงกับคำว่า ศัพท์บัญญัติ ซึ่งความหมายต่างจากวจีวิภาค.  และถึงแม้ grammar (ไวยากรณ์) เองเมื่อดูนิยามแล้วเหมือนว่าจะต่างจาก หลักภาษา ด้วย.

ระหว่างที่ค้นคว้าเลยได้คำศัพท์ที่เกี่ยวข้อมาดังนี้

• etymology = ศัพท์บัญญัติ
• phonology = สรวิทยา (re: "พระปรีชาสามารถในด้านสรวิทยา วจีวิภาค และวากยสัมพันธ์")

Palette vs Pallet

• palette [n]

Let define in this way:

Placement	Purpose
Beginning: "[_] text ..."	Topic preparation/checklist -- at beginning of the topic activity.
Ending: "text ... [_]"	Progress of what to do next/later -- after the topic discussion.

I've got this idea from increment/decrement operators in C programming language.

Beyond "terms"

Should this blog contain additional posts related to "terms" such as notation and syntax too?  I think that it's to far to create another blog(s) for each category.  Once I even used to try consolidating to "ByteSPark", one of my old blog "Nice-Writing" was also included that time.

By this time, I'd rather keep two: Smart-Terms here for science/technical, and Word-Arts for arts.  Therefore, Smart-Terms site is not only about design of word usage (terminology, nomenclature), but also detailed knowledge of some words for professional use.

คำที่ถูกต้องคือ "อนุญาต"
ถ้าจะจำง่ายๆ ก็คือ "อนุญาต" ไม่ใช่ ญาติผู้น้อย หรือ ญาติเล็กๆ

“อนุญาต” ซึ่งแปลว่า “ยินยอม, ยอมให้, ตกลง” นั้น มักมีผู้เขียนผิดเป็น “อนุญาติ” อยู่เสมอ คำนี้มาจากคำบาลีว่า “อนุญฺญาต” เป็นคำกริยา เมื่อเรานำมาใช้ในภาษาไทย เราตัด ญ ซึ่งเป็นพยัญชนะสังโยคหรือตัวซ้อนที่เหมือนกันออกตัวหนึ่ง จึงเป็น “อนุญาต” ถ้าหากเขียนเป็น “อนุญาติ” ก็ต้องแปลว่า “ญาติผู้น้อย” ซึ่งตรงข้ามกับ “ญาติผู้ใหญ่”

สาเหตุที่มีผู้เขียน “อนุญาต” เป็น “อนุญาติ” นั้น ก็คงถือเอาคำว่า “อนุมัติ, สมมุติ” ซึ่งลงท้ายด้วย “ติ” เป็นแนวเทียบนั่นเอง
